We are thrilled to welcome His Excellency Ran Yaakoby to share his insights on the opportunities for NZ businesses to increase trade and activity with Israel.
His Excellency Ran Yaakoby serves as Ambassador of Israel to New Zealand and Non-Resident Ambassador to the Cook Islands, Samoa and Tonga.
Prior to his appointment to New Zealand, he served as Director for Combating Antisemitism and for Holocaust Remembrance at the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He also served as Minister-Counsellor to Germany – Berlin (2011-2016), Deputy Ambassador to Sweden – Stockholm (2003-2007), and Deputy Consul General & Charge' d'affairs to Brazil – Sao Paulo (1996-2001).
His Excellency has a particular passion for trade, and it will be fascinating event.
Also, we are grateful to Henri Eliot. Henri is a member of NZMEBC, and also serves as Honorary Counsel for Israel in NZ. He has generously offered to host the event at his offices in Auckland CBD.
